- The members of [Third Grade Municipality] [Substituted for the words 'Town Panchayat' by the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Amendment) Act 2004 (Tamil Nadu Act 24 of 2004)] referred to in sub-section (1) of section 3-C shall be elected in such manner as may be prescribed:Provided that no person shall be eligible to be elected under this Act as a member of more than one [Third Grade Municipality] [Substituted for the words 'Town Panchayat' by the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Amendment) Act 2004 (Tamil Nadu Act 24 of 2004)].
