Section 139 · Power to grant exemption

Where in the opinion of the Chief Inspector-cum-Facilitator, the conditions relating to the mine or rescue station or rescue chamber are such as to render unnecessary or impracticable the compliance with any of the provisions contained in these rules, he may, by an order in writing and subject to such conditions, grant exemption from the said provisions.
