Section 9 · Duty on excess transit wastage

- The importers shall be liable to pay duty on excess transit wastages, if any, to the State of export, if a claim is made therefor. In that case he will be allowed to set off against that claimed amount of duty pre-paid by him on the quantity representing the excess loss in transit.B.
