Section 72 · Standing committees of Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad

- 1. Every Panchayat Samiti and every Zila Parishad shall constitute, from amongst its elected members, the following standing committees :-

(a)

General Administration Committee,

(b)

Agriculture & Industries Committee,

(c)

Health & Education Committee,

(d)

Finance, Audit and Planning & Development Committee,

(e)

Cooperative Committee,

(f)

Women, children and social welfare committee,

(g)

Forest and environment committee,

(h)

Communication and works committee.
