Section 23A · Salary and allowances payable and other terms and conditions of service of Chairperson and Members of Appellate Tribunal Section 48

(1)

The salaries and allowances payable to the Chairperson and Members of the Appellate Tribunal shall be as follows, namely:-

(a)

the Chairperson shall be paid a monthly salary equivalent to the last drawn salary by such person, as a Judge of a High Court;

(b)

the Member shall be paid a monthly salary equivalent to the salary drawn at the maximum of the scale of pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India:
Provided that any person who has held a post with the Government, senior than that of Additional Secretary to the Government of India, prior to becoming a Member, he shall be paid a monthly salary corresponding to the post at which he retired.

(2)

The Chairperson and Member shall be entitled to thirty days of earned leave for every completed year of service.

(3)

The Chairperson and member shall be entitled to residential houses and vehicles as per their entitlement.

(4)

All other allowances and conditions of service of the Chairperson and the other Member shall be such, as may be determined by the State Government, from time to time.
