(6) Where any person to whom a notice under sub-section (1) is sent, fails to pay to the authority prescribed the sum demanded or any part thereof as required in the said notice, such sum shall be recoverable from such person as if it were an arrear of land revenue due from him. (7) The provisions of this section shall be without prejudice to any action that may be taken for the recovery of the money due from the dealer. de 30. Where ownership of the business of a dealer registered under the Act and liable to pay tax is transferred, any tax or any other amount payable under the Act in respect of such business and remaining unpaid at the time of the transfer, may without prejudice to any action that may be taken for its recovery from the transferor, be recoverable from the transferee as if the transferee were the dealer liable to pay such tax or other amount. (1) Any VAT dealer or TOT dealer or any other dealer objecting to any order passed or proceeding recorded by any authority under the provisions of the Act other than an order passed or proceeding recorded by an Additional Commissioner or Joint Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner, may, within thirty days from the date on which the order or proceeding was served on him, appeal to such authority as may be prescribed: Appeal to Appellate authority. 90 [XXX]
