Section 9 · Limitation on powers conferred by section 8

- Any person detained in a Borstal school for failure to furnish security when ordered to do so [under section 106 or section 118] [Substituted by the Andhra Pradesh Extension of Laws Act, 1958 (Act XXIII of 1958). Now see the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974).] of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898, shall be released on furnishing such security or on the passing of an order under section 124 of the Code.
