In this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires:-

(a)

"agreement" means an agreement in form 'C' appended to this scheme:

(b)

"allotment" means allotment of a subsidized industrial house to an industrial worker on lease-hold and hire purchase basis under this scheme:

(c)

"Industrial house" means a house as defined in clause (b) of section 2 of the Punjab Industrial Housing Act, 1956:

(d)

"Industrial worker" means worker as defined under the Factories Act, 1948:
All other words and expressions used in this scheme shall have the meaning assigned to them under the Capital of Punjab (Development and Regulation) Act, 1952 and the rules framed thereunder.
