Section 1 · Short title, extent and commencement

(1)
This Act may be called the Bombay Bandhijama, Udhad and Ugadia Tenures Abolition Act, 1959.(2)
It extends to the Kaira, Broach, Surat and Thana districts of the State of Bombay.(3)
