Section 2 · Definitions

- In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires :-

(i)

"Academic Council" means the Academic Council of the Institute;

(ii)

"Director" means the Director of the Institute;

(iii)

"Executive Council" means the Executive Council of the Institute;

(iv)

"General Council" means the General Council of the Institute;

(v)

"Registrar" means the Registrar of the Institute;

(vi)

"Regulations" means the Regulations of the Institute made under Section 31;

(vii)

"Institute" means [the National Law Institute University] [Substituted by M.P. Act No. 18 of 1998.] established under Section 3; and

(viii)

" Visitor" means the Visitor of the Institute.
