Section 125 · Penalty for unauthorised use of police uniform

If any person not being a member of the police force wears, without the permission of the officer authorised by the Government in this behalf or by a general or special order for any area in the State, the uniform of the police force or any dress having the appearance or bearing any of the distinctive marks of that uniform, he shall, on conviction be punished with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees.
