- In these rules :-
(a)
"The Act" means the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899).(b)
"Section" means a section of the Act.(c)
"Schedule" means a Schedule of the Act.(d)
"Superintendent of Stamps" means the Superintendent of Stamps, Madras, Bombay, Karachi, Rangoon or Nagpur and includes the Financial Commissioner. Punjab and any other officer appointed by the Local Government to perform the functions of the Superintendent of Stamps.Your private note on this section
