Section 8 · Act to override certain other enactments

- The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Punjab District Boards Act, 1883 (XX of 1883), the Punjab Municipal Act, 1911 (III of 1911), the Small Towns Act, 1922 (II of 1922) or any other enactment in force in [Haryana] [Substituted by Haryana Adaptation Laws Order, 1968.].
