(a)

A licence mentioned in bye-law 2 shall be granted on application of the owner thereof subject to the specific in bye-law 4 and shall be issued in form 'A' appended to these bye-laws by the Licensing Officer after the applicant has paid the tax of three rupees per annum and no licence shall continue to be in force after the 31st March, next following the date of issue.

(b)

Every person to whom a licence is granted shall on or before the date on which the period of licence expires make a fresh application in the manner provided in clause (a) attaching the original licence therewith.
