GAP Act 3

Section 3 · Definitions

In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-

(1)

"Animal" means an animal to which this Act applies ;

(2)

"Competent Authority" means a person or body of persons appointed under section 4 to perform the functions of a Competent Authority under this Act:

(3)

"Prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act;

(4)

"Schedule" means a Schedule appended to this Act.
