Section 18 · Award to be signed

(1)

The award shall be dated and signed by arbitrators and, when once signed, shall not afterwards be altered or added to, except as provided in sub-rule (2).

(2)

Clerical or arithmetical mistakes in the award or errors arising from any accidental slip or omission may be corrected by such officer as may be appointed by the Central Government in this behalf on his own motion or on the application of any of the parties.
