Section 113 · Members of Panchayats to be public servants

- Every member of a Gram Panchayat or District Panchayat and every officer and servant employed under a Gram Panchayat or District Panchayat shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
