Section 3 · Authorisation for registration of marriages

- The State Government may, by notification, authorize officers, for the purpose of registration of marriages under the Act, to also act as,-
(a)
District Registrar for the district, specified in that notification; and(b)
a Registrar of marriages for the areas, specified in that notification.Your private note on this section
