- Whosoever sells or keeps or exposes for sale as foreign liquor imported into India which he knows or has reason to believe to be Indian liquor shall be punishable with imprisonment which shall not be less than ten years but which may extend to imprisonment for life and with fine, which shall not be less than one lakh rupees but which may extend to ten lakh rupees.]
