Section 15 · Compensation for acquisition of land

(1)

Where land is acquired for the purpose of allotment to the slum dweller, every person having any interest in any land acquired under this Act shall be entitled to receive compensation from the State Government.

(2)

Compensation will be paid to the land owner which may be monetary, or in the form of concessional building rights in lieu of value of land foregone, partially or wholly transferable or a combination of both.

(3)

The process of determination, appointment and procedure of payment of compensation as required under sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed.
